Why isn't my ad hoc connection working?

I have everything set up properly. Host and laptop are connected but I'm not able to use the internet from the Host. My Ethernet connection is be shared so thats not the problem.

What could it be?

I'm running XP sp2.

So here is how you need to have everything setup.

-Internet connection setup on the host.
-ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) enabled on host
-After getting the ad-hoc connection working, the hardest part by the way, you will need to setup the clients internet connection for the connect through another computer option.

That should do it......
