This guy is an obvious liar. He has no business being an Attorney General. Either he should be fired or someone should shoot him in the head.

I for one am in favor of impeaching Gonzales, for the fact that he lied under oath to both House and Senate Judiciary Committees.
He also failed to fulfill his oath, to uphold the Constitution of the United States. To start with he said that Habeas Corpus is "quaint." He also said that there was question as to whether or not US citizens have the right, guaranteed to us in Article 1, Section 9 of the Constitution as stated:" The Privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in Cases of Rebellion or Invasion the public Safety may require it."

Of course. "Yes Boss" Gonzalez is just a stooge. But Bush is without shame. He has gone far beyond making honest mistakes. He doesn't care. He proved that when he snuck into an office he didn't win, and behaved as if he'd won a landslide. Contemptable.

Bush will never fire him, he knows the truth behind too many of Bush and Cheney lies. What would be perfect is to have him removed with the charges of civil contempt. That way Bush could not pardon him or even commute his sentence.

Now that the ex Enron lawyer is becoming a yet even more of a problem for Bush, perhaps he can stay. God knows whom Bush would tap for a replacement, maybe Satan ?
