Ok here's the thing: I like one of the teachers at my high school, I just found out that I am in one of his classes next September and don't know how I'll cope. How can I keep myself oh I don't know...non-red faced? Also all my friends know about it, which is fine but one other person heard it and everytime he walks in the same room as us she starts making fun of me and pointing him out plus talking loudly. What can I do about her?

You can't do non-thing about her because people like her is just talk. What you should do is see can you change the class so it would not be like the other kids in the class say that oh she like the teacher so the teacher gave her an A out of the class. Just email me at thelmaruffin07@yahoo.com

I agree it's a crush... I had one too when I was in High School, everyone knew I liked my teacher and he was dating another teacher at the time... I was confronted by this teacher (his girlfriend) one day, asking me if there was anything going on between me and my teacher (NO there wasn't, at the time I had wished though)... This was very shameful though and made it very difficult to look at my teacher (whom I had the crush on) in the eye. I had to remain in his class for the whole year and even though the first few months were tough I managed to get over it and move my crush to someone else (a boy only a few years older than me)
Looking back now, being 10 years out of high school, I thank the lord that it was only a crush because if anything were persued it could of been a legal nitemare and many lives would of been ruined.
Just take each day as it comes, and maybe to get these people off your back you could make a point of liking someone else (even if you don't) just try and act normal and mature around your teacher, he will respect this... these people are being immature and if you just ignore them and brush it off then that will show your more mature than them.
If you can't ignore them, then make a joke out of it or be sarcastic.
But in the end, if it's not just a crush, then at least wait until your out of high school and then see if your teacher has the same feelings... but student / teacher relationships are a big NO NO remember that.

There's nothing you can do. She is trying to embarrass and shame you. She probably has something worse going on so she's trying to shift everyone's attention off herself and onto someone else. Don't deny or make a scene about her statements or actions, ignore her.

A lot of girls, including me, had mad crushes on teachers. I had a crush in fourth grade, ninth grade and 11th. It's normal, so, don't be embarrassed. What you do about it could become the problem.

The teacher probably will notice by your reactions toward his presence. You will be nervous when near him but you have to act like it means nothing to you. Go to class, sit there and say to yourself, WOW, he's so cute, then concentrate on your school work. Do not get involved with your teacher, no matter what is said or done. If you act like it's no big deal, soon, everyone else will think it was just their imagination and that the girl was just talking mess to pick on you. Good Luck!

sweetheart in the future, you need to be careful not to start a fire with your mouth that you will eventually have to put out. the best thing for you to do is to change classes if you can. if not, pull her aside when she is not with her friend's and make it known that you do not like what shes doing, and tell her why.make sure before you leave her she understands what you expect of her, and if she continues, you will speak to the principal about her false accusation's. which will be true. because before you go back,( you are old enough to know that the foolishness you started with your mouth, could get that man in trouble, and cause him to lose his job). before you return, you need to grow up and realize that you are nothing but a child to him. the only thing you can do for him is to pass his class in thanks for all his hard work of teaching you. and find someone your your own age to fantasize about.focus on your graduation and getting out of there. in college you will be able to look back on all of this and smile inwardly.

School is hard enough without the added distraction of liking the teacher it could get both of you into trouble ask to be transferred to another teacher

You need to like boys your age...not men like your teacher. If your teacher is normal...he likes women, not little girls....you have no chance, go to the movies and obsess over someone you'll never meet, you are safer doing so and will save yourself the embarrassment.

Talk to her nicely. Make her understand, in a very polite way, that, if she points at him again and talk loudly, you'll break the finger with which she points at him. Be polite, but make her understand that you mean it.

Get up under a different teacher and by all means discipline yourself with respect to even think about it.

well as you have seen its not good to see a teacher as gf/bf. so i would just forget it and move on. You can get into trouble and the person can lose her job his job. why not just leave it they always seem so cool cause theya re smart. but you have to catch up and it will take awhile to get there so just find someone your own age.

Yell really loud that she is the one with the crush on him. Get all your friends to cover the fact you do and have them help with making fun of her. She will learn to keep her mouth shut after that.
