I went through a period of depression after a bad breakup and death in the family. The thing that helped me the most was getting on a treadmill, turning my earphones up really loud and jogging.... Exercise, in gerneral, should boost the "feel good" chemicals in your body (serotonin, endorphins, etc.)... I've also found the treadmill to be the best place to sort through and develop my ideas (I write a lot of papers as a graduate student). Take a pen and note pad with you- you may have to stop a few times to write down the thoughts that come to you once you get the good chemicals flowing through your body! The mind (including emotions) and body are certainly connected....

Well, take it from me, there could be something medical going on.
After ten years of near-hell, and you don't sound that bad or anything, I found out I had this hormonal thing...
but less about me, more about you.
If you're blue, find a doctor who will honestly examine physical causes.
I went ten years without a good doctor, honey, so insist.
And if you're all good, then maybe it's time for some help, and maybe you just need to find that one thing that's worth working really hard for, and do it.
But a good solid check-up is a great idea!

Sorry to hear that you have been ill. Think of all the good things you have in your life, surely there has to be a few. Remember sickest thrives on the weak, the more you sink into depression, the more you don't heal, and if you don't heal, you don't feel good. I know it's easier said than done, pray to the lord, your guardian angles, there always there for you, ask them for help; you'll be surprised! Good luck and God bless you.

its very hard especially when you feel depressed. I went through depression and its very difficult. But you have to do all these things, so get some loud music pumping and work out a little. this will help you get rid of the negative stress from thebody!! Talk to your friends and family and get this out of your chest. Seeing a professional therapist might also really help you. Good luck!!

maybe you could get a script for ritalin or something . Medical science is not exactly at a standstill and psychiatrists although expensive by the hour don't always take that long to get the job done. good luck and stand up straight !
