i borderline hate my name, and if i could afford it, i would put a hit on it...
so i hate my name because it's misspelled aaaaaaaaaalllllllllll the time...my name is drucilla...i've been called everything from dracula, to ursulla, dorcilla, i'm not making this up..i went to a convention this past saturday...no joke, they spelled my name darniella...
seriously...why? just why? i know it's not susan, or mary...but give me a freekin break...
i just feel like sometimes people don't take the time to acknowledge what they are either reading or hearing...

I like my name, Magdalane. ppl alwayz have such a hard time pronouncing it, i hate it when ppl call me Magdalena, that is not my name, not even in Spanish. My birth certificate sayz Magdalane Yvette Rodriguez. My friends call me Maggie, it's easier for them to say Maggie than Magdalane, i don't like Maggie, but i'm just so used to it. The way to pronounce my name is Mag-duh-lane, so simple yet ppl make it so hard. I know i have an exotic biblical name and i am happy with it. I will name my children some exotic namesand they will be mixed with Black, German, and Panamanian ;)

As a child, I use to hate my name... As a mature adult... I have learned to appreciate my.. mainly because my name was made up by my parents in a time where most females were named similarly to other females..
thank God.. my parents had the foresight and freedom of will to go against the grain and choose a name that is unique.

My is John. Just John. It's easy for me to not be noticed, but that's okay sometimes. I don't know whether I can say I like it or not - It's me.

I really like it, nobody ever writes it wrong, although sometimes people call me Elizabeth. Why? Beats me.
When I was little my favorite storybook was Cocori (by a costarican author), and Cocori“s mother is called Mama Drusila... I love it! That character was so warm, so beautiful, brings tears to my eyes just to remember it.

I love my name, really like it and wouldn't change it.
My name is a word in an indigenous languaje from Mexico, Zapoteco, and it means "I love you" - NATYELI .
Altougth it's misspelled all the time, just like yours, i really like my name and it's something i show off. When somebody have to write it down - i used to spell it my self before even they ask me to.

if it is pronounced drew-sill-ah then I would spell it correctly. People are stupid. My name is Danielle, and how people manage to screw THAT one up, I'll never know. Some missus was making a hair appoinment for me, and she ran out of space in the name section of the little slip, she used so many letters. it was like Dahkneyelliaelle.
