were has all the good music gone? i miss stuff like pearl jam, tool, red hot chili peppers, jimmy eat world, third eye blind, marcys playground, ect.
most bands that started out alternative have sold out completely - (weezer, yellowcard, MCR, and gym class heroes are starting down that path)
i miss it....alot....if anyone knows any good alternative rock artists that are new to the track please tell me because they are a dying breed....
(and please, dont give me stuff like Panic at the disco and Fall out boy, im sorry but they arent alternative)

Well the only one I can think of you not knowing are Skindred or maybe Pitchshifter.
Other than that, my only other suggestions would be to find a decent internet radio station, and listen to that.
It'll play a lot of stuff you know and love, and some stuff you might not like. But it'll also open you ears to new sounds!
I listen to www.wor-radio.com alot and that's opened my ears. (this coming from a musician)

sounds like your getting sick of music. Try some really good albums. I suggest Bad Religion - All Ages, Faith No More - Who Cares A Lot?, and Fugazi - 13 Songs. Start there and I think you can discover a lot more stuff you will like from there. If you have cd's from bands you like check out who the band thanks and maybe you can discover more music that way.
