The age to start using tampons is a totally private thing. It is best if you are OK with your body and your OK with wearing them. It is totally a comfort thing. I started using them when i was 12. Tampons have made my periods a lot easier to deal with. But before you start using tampons make sure you read about TSS(toxic shock syndrome). It is usually easier if you are sexually active but that is only because your muscles wont be as resistant. Good Luck!

Whenever you feel comfortable. I NEVER used pads. Maybe the first month...but every month after that...alwasy tampons. I was 12 when I got my period

at any age. generally girls dont use them right when they start their period but once they feel more comfortable they start. just depends on when and how comfortable you feel with your body and a tampon.

I think once you start your period you are ready to use tampons if you have to go swimming, but not to wear regularly. I think to wear tampons regularly you should be about 15-17 years old.

Whatever age you start having periods. Most girls can start using them with their very first if they want, though you might have to start out with the extra-slim ones.

well i started when i was 12 years old. its diferent for everyone. if you havent used a tampond then you have to make sure that you want to do it and whatever you do dont be nurvus about it because it might not go in properly
