front loading machines are all automatic. top loading can be auto, semi auto.
front loading cannot wk without tap water.
in case of top loading u can pour water from top in case tap runs dry.
front loading machines are best if running water & electricity is not a problem, as it is difficult to halt process in between & do it manually.
one of the best top loading machines is from IFB very simple to use. will cost around 15 k onwards.

Many people are mostly used to load washers or may be you can say traditional washers, because it grew up with them and believe in their reliability. Traditional top load washers last between 10-12 years, so the need to update was really only because the ole' washer finally gave up. And it is this reliability that keeps people loyal to top load washers.
Front load washers are known for their energy efficiency and convenient features. Unlike the top loader, the front loader's wash basket is set horizontally, and uses gravity to pull water through clothes. And because the basket never has to fill completely with water you end up using only a third of the water a top loader uses, but your clothes get just as clean. You also use less detergent, which means more money savings and fewer chemicals.

Front loading get the clothes from the door located at the front of the machine. Top loading gets from the top. I do not think there is any major difference except convenience. Indian washing machines are all good. Please go for anyone of them.

the top loading are easier and cheaper to use and they hold a lot more then a front loading.
I would suggest getting a whirlpool washing machine I've had mine for 6 years now and have had no troubles.

Washing in top loading machine is similar to washing in a bucket of water and dipping cloths in it.
In front loading the clothes will roll in a cylinder and that cylinder has rolling and vibrating effect. So cloths will get cleaned soon...
Going for front loading is best one. Only problem in front loading is it will create more noise. So prefer for Siemens washing machine it won't produce more noise and all. Rest have that problem alone.

Front loading washers have more room than a top loader and the top loader has an agitator. I prefer a front loading machine.

I will NEVER own a front loader again. NEVER. They leak, you can't add anything and you can't take anything out. You just have to wait for the cycle to finish. Pain in the behind. I have a Maytag top loader and its wonderful.
