I was expecting disgustingly horrific and disfigured. She's slightly below average.

Not nearly as ugly as someone who's mean spirited.
She's not that bad looking.
It could be worse, she could have an ugly heart like some people seem to.

Oh, much uglier, but thank God that beauty is in the eye of the beholder! Sometimes when I wake up in the morning I look like that too or my glasses are just dirty again.
