I think it's a shame that they have moved "In God We Trust" to the edge of the coins, where it is nearly impossible to see. I have also noticed that the circulated coins I have collected do not wear well. Even after a short time in circulation, the lettering on the edge of the coins are almost worn off, already.
This includes the date, mint mark and all of it. Has anyone else noticed this? And do you agree with me about the "In God We Trust"?

I am not sure when it will happen but all the edge lettering will be put back on the obverse or reverse of future president dollars. Congress passed a bill. I for one like the old Bust 1/2 dollars and large cents that had edge lettering. The mint was trying to bring back some of the old mint items of the past. It does not matter for most American have no idea about their countries history anyway. That may come to haunt future generations. Anyone can collect coins and shove them in an album, but only numismatist collect and also study the coins and knows their history. In the end who do you think has a more valuable collection? I also agree with President Teddy Roosevelt that we presume to much to put " In God We Trust " on a coin. Old teddy thought it was sacrilegious. Just my opinon here, have fun collecting the dollars and don't forget to buy the proof versions.
