well 6!/3! =
6*5*4.../3*2*1 so imagine it as a fraction...the 3*2*1 is present in the numerator (top) and denominator (bottom) so that part equals 1...then ur left with 6*5*4/1 or 120

In example:
6! = 6x5x4x3x2x1 or 720
3! = 3x2x1 or 6
