I just read and answered your other question about 5 weeks and no egg sac or fetus. It does sound like you are going through some of the same issues I did in trying to get pregnant. Just to encourage you:
I was 34 at the time I went through all of this. Within about 2 or 3 months after the miscarriage, we came to the top of a 4 year adoption waiting list and also found out I was pregnant again. We were so afraid that the miscarriage would happen again and we'd lose our spot for adoption also. Our daughter was born 3 days before my 36th birthday. She is now 11. We had another "Clomid baby" girl and a "surprise" boy! God truly blessed us with 3 wonderful children!!
I know that all stories don't turn out this way, but I meant what I said in my other answer--I will be praying for you!! Take care of yourself. The emotional rollercoaster is so draining!

Yes!!! I know exactly what you're talking about! Finally, somebody understands what I have been talking about. I have felt that pain off and on since about 3-4 weeks and I'm 11 weeks now. It happens when I laugh, get up really fast or sneeze. I asked my doctor and he said it was my uterus and muscles expanding and making room for the growing baby. He said my muscles will get used to the growth in a few months and the soreness will go away.
So don't worry, you're not alone. I am 30, and my last pregnancy was 10yrs ago, so this is kinda new to me, too. I don't remember feeling this way, expecially being so tired.
Well, anyway, congratulations and good luck.
Here is a great website that has so much info on pregnancy and beyond. You can join, and it has a pregnancy calendar that tells you exactly what stage your baby is in with pictures. It also has message boards and question/answers by doctors. I hope this helps...

Please make sure that it's not a tubal pregnancy. I went through that as my first pregnancy and I wouldn't get sharp pain necessarily but it was painful when I'd sit and move a certain way. A tubal pregnancy is where the baby starts to grow in the tube instead of in the uterus and if left too long can be deadly. I started to spot about a week after I found out that I was pregnant and went to the doctor several times before she authorized an ultrasound and found out that there wasn't a baby where it was supposed to be. It was my first pregnancy so I didn't know what to expect but the only reason I'd heard about having a tubal pregnancy is because my mom had one.

First off congrats! I want to help to reassure you, I have had this the last pregnancy I had. I had a lot of pains and even some bleeding, I was scared I was going to lose him.. I prayed for God's will and his support if the preg didn't stick. The little guy is now 3. I will pray for you. If you are a woman of Faith, do the same. It will be okay. Relax, stress does not help, it can create more pain and discomfort. You were calling doc anyway and he or she will examin you and give you advice. Take it easy for a while don't do anything that makes it hurt and again just breathe, relax and think of happy things. Good luck!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!! I personally know how you feel. I was 33 before I had a baby and the sharp pains could be anything - even gas! lol When I found out I was pregnant (21 years ago), I had been suffering with pains in my abdomen, I was sure it was gas . It was a sharp pain that would hit me suddenly out of no where. When I talked with my doctor - I learned that it WAS gas. You'll notice some things that you could eat that gave you no problems - and now since you have a little one growing inside you, he or she will reject some of the ideas you have with regard to eating. lol. Your community is so happy for you. Keep us informed.

YAY! Congrats! I'm 35 and pregnant with my 1st so I know how exciting this is for you!
Yes, it is VERY normal! It is called round ligament pain. It is where your uterus is swelling and your ligaments and muscles stretch to accomodate baby... Not only is it normal but a very good sign that your body is doing what it needs to do! I am now 29 weeks and still have these occasionally... Especially when I sneeze or cough!
Very Best Wishes!

I had that. The ligaments that connect your uterus to your pelvis are really soft right now. Sudden movements can hurt like hell. This is what I was told when I was early on.
Later on, those soft ligaments are stressed from baby and it hurts the same if you move too fast.
Slow down, rest, take a warm(NOT HOT) bath. Relax. It's OK.
When you call the Dr. in the morning, make sure you mention your concerns.
Good luck to you,
D

The embryo has to implant itself into the uterous. Sometimes this causes minor pain. You should see your doctor, ofcourse.
But try and relax and take it easy until then. Worrying causes body stress and will make things worse. Good luck and God bless.
