To Catch a Predator...we watch hundreds (litterally) of men being caught trying to have sex with minors. The number of predators is astonishing. Its sickening. But I'm finished with wondering how and why they become who they become. My next concern is...why is this not a concern of our government? Because its not. According to the Constitution...everyone deserves rights...rights. rights, rights.....what about the rights of the child? WHY do we allow these predators rights? Am I alone in this when I think that if you decide to commit an act against another person (whatever it maybe) that the perosn should lose their rights? WHY should they be allowed rights when they take it upon themselves to take the rights away from someone else? I understand things are a bit more complex and there are many factors that need to come into play. But if there is an abundance of without a doubt evidence on the person..caught red handed type of $h!t (which happens on dateline everytime) WHY...read down

Are they even allowed to plead "not guilty"? Why are they even given that chance to be free? Rights, rights, rights...I don't want to hear anyone say that they have rights...the second they took the rights away from the perosn they are hurting...they lose theirs! I don't care what the Constitution says...what is it written in Jesus' blood for GOD sakes? WHY can't we make little touch ups to accomodate our different world? WHY can't we put these men away and for good? I would RATHER see more predators either in prison for life (and would be glad to have my taxes go to it (or just execute them which I am all for) Than to have thousands of criminals for drug possesion. We fill our prisons with these people who are on drugs and thats all they are in prison for (drug possesion--which yes we can't neglect their unlawful ways..) BUT, where are our priorities? Its certainly not with these poor young children who don't make it after being in the hands of a predator instead of Chis Hanson!

ONE more thing...I merely said jesus' blood to make my point...I'm not religious in ANYWAY! MY POINT was....as I hoped would be obvious....its not written in anything but INK---there is no other reason we can't make changes except for the fact that it was written by our "Founding Fathers".... Greatful for them ABSOLUTLY....Were they aware of how life would change...NO....Its time we made some changes to the New world we live in

But the question is why? Why do they deserve rights just because thats AMERICA? Is that what we stand for? Yes, Rights for all....we can't change it? Who WOULDN"T want to change rights for all? THOSE who are doing wrong in the first place. If I take your rights away then they can take my rights away and so on....Ummm IF you are living a decent life then why worry about those rights being taken away? If I tomorrow decide to hold up a store and get caught on camara killing the clerk..RIGHTS TAKEN AWAY! You don something wrong and you should be penalized...why is there so much crime here as opposed to other countries who belive in "Eye for any eye" they are not living in total harmony but there violence stats are significantly lower. OBVIOUSLY something isn't working here...but of course the govenrment has to just stand there and keep the same trend going. Because everyone is worried about what rights are going to be taken away from them..if they start takin grights away from criminals

You are not alone, but let me ask you a question: Who defends the rights of the accused? Who defends the rights of the victim?

Think about it ... its rather an uneven fight, isn't it?

The accused has access to whatever attorney he can afford (or the state provides him) ... and the victim has ... ALL OF THE REST OF SOCIETY.

Our forefathers rightly determined that it was an uneven fight and that it was "better that 10 guilty men go free than 1 innocent man go to jail."

Considering how easy it is to frame somebody, considering how powerful the state is, etc ... yeah, its fair.

Don't bring Jesus into this - Christians are less than 50% of the world's population. It is in the minority - the state, the organization that provides "rights" is NOT supposed to represent a minority of the world over the majority of the world.

Let me ask this: How would you feel if YOU had been framed for sexual predation? It happens.

Indeed isn't that one of the most common claims in divorce court? My ex molested our kid...

You're right that this activity initiates force on the minors and should be illegal, which it is.

The Constitution doesn't give jurisdiction over this to the federal government. The crimes all happen within the jurisdiction of one state or another, and they can certainly handle this if they aren't too busy looking for recreational pot smokers.

i agree on most points towards no rights, though it is America and we allow everyone rights. Therefore they too have them, even if they shouldn't, which is complete crap when they are the ones hurting the society. But then again some rights should go for everyone, like fair trial.
