My Cardinals are horrible and I cannot believe we even have a shot in hell to make the playoffs so should I just look forward to next year?

Of course you should look forward to 2008. The Cardinals have always been an organization that wants to put together a winner and they are willing to make the needed moves to get there. I would expect them to do well in 2008 with the good core group of players they have,

the cards do not really have a chance of winning this year due to pitching. chris carpenter is out until at least 2008 after under-going surgery. injuries have hurt the cardinals and so has the pitching. they lost marquis and weaver who won big games in the playoffs last year. teams are teeing off with reyes and wainwright, just look at the cubs game tonight. the brewers or cubs will win the division.
