For me, like most of you, it was Snape's memories as well. I've always been waiting for the moment Snape would be redeemed, and I've always been certain about him being on the good side.
And then there was another scene that hit me pretty hard, when, just before dying, he wanted harry to "look at me."
And Snape died thinking that he was sending Harry to his doom. I thought that was truly sad, especially after valiantly trying to keep that part of his lost love alive for so long...

MANY moments affected me.
When Snape tried to find Harry and sacrificed himself... so sad. And when he asked for Harry to look at him so that his last image of the world was Lily's eyes.... I CRIED.
Snape was just a terrific character. He and Lily's interaction affected me because even though he is set to be a Death Eater, he starts changing. Just because he loved her. He gave up his whole entire life for her. WOW.
The conversation Voldemort and Harry shared at the end was very compelling.
Also, when Lucius and Narcissa stopped caring about Voldemort all because of their son. They loved him SO much. I loved that.
And when Dudley left Harry tea... I bawled like a baby.
Plus, when Fred died. Really sad.

i thought the whole chapter where harry sees the memories of snape was amazing. i mean, after that i absolutely fell in love with snape's character. i used to hate snape, then he became my favorite. the part where dumbledore asks snape whether he cared for harry or not really made me emotional. cuz at first snape doesn't answer, then dumbledore says something like, "have you ever cared for him?" and then snape says, "always." i looooooved that. it made me think back to all the times when snape and harry had any interaction.

Harry being a horcrux and Snape loving Lily. Also Fred,Lupin, and Tonks. Molly's "NOT MY DAUGHTER YOU *****!" I certainly wouldn't want to tick her off. The whole book was an emotional roller coaster for me so I would be here all night if I tried to truly express my feelings. Oh yea and I guess my fav. part was were Harry and Ginny were seeing their kids off to Hogwarts I thought that was great.

I cried when Fred died. But at least he went telling a joke.
I wasn't worried about Snape's memory when it was revealed that Harry had to die in order to kill Voldemort. Since he was made the godfather of Tonks/Remus' baby, I figured he would see the end in one peice.

The part where, in Snape's memory, Dumbledore says that Harry is a horcrux (which meant that Harry had to die in order for Voldemort to be killed). Of course, he didn't really die.

This is a difficult question; there were so many intense moments in DH. For me, these were the two most affecting moments:
1. The death and funeral of Dobby.
2. King's Cross, after Harry "dies".

The part when Dobby dies. That was the part that horrified me the most. It was really sad, the way Dobby was so close to surviving. The only consolation I have is that at least, Bellatrix payed for killing a pure soul.

Good question! I particularly loved the line [paraphrased- book not in front of me], "You were named after two headmasters of Hogwarts. One of them was a Slytherin, and was probably the bravest man I ever knew" Sums it up quite nicely, I think.
Ron destroying the locket was intense... then entering the chamber and off-handedly removing fangs from a basilisk. Nice to see him really come into his own! And Neville finally became a leader, too. Awesome!!
