CONUS (continental United States) has four. If you include Alaska and the Atlantic and Pacific territories, it gets pretty large.
Officially, there are 16 time zones in the US (including Standard and Daylight time). See the web site below. This is from the US Naval Observatory, which maintains the time standards for the US.
