My daughter started the washing machine without any clothes in it. I stopped it, but there's water sitting in the drum. How can I drain the water without running a full cycle? It's an LG model, not exactly sure which one...

Don't know about LG but on a Whirlpool if you push in the button and turn to spin it will spin out the water. Worked at Whirlpool for 6 years.

If it doesn't have a drain and spin button on it then you will have to run the entire cycle.

You don't. Thats why I would NEVER own a front loader.
