It depends.
If I got $40 for free, I would spend it on great sushi or just save it.
If I earned the $40, I would definitely save it. I have bigger plans that could come a long way if I focus on the little savings that amount to a lot over the course of several years.

Spend? I would go to night club, or get a good lunch with a drink in the exotic restaurant :)

I'd buy part of a dinner for me and my wife at one of our favorite restaurants.
Or I'd put a tank of gas in my car.
I spend almost $40 EVERY DAY on breakfast, lunch, gas, and dinner.

I don't have anything I need at the moment that requires cash .
