My daughter is named Miranda, and we call her Mandy. She is now nine years old and prefers everyone but her Mother, Father and siblings to call her by her full name.
I have only known three other people with her name in my life, and they all went by the full name rather than a nickname.
I think that Randi would work, or Manda (as we sometimes call her). Possibly Myra?
I remember when she was a baby, someone told me that Mandy was not a nickname for Miranda. LOL I thought that was ridiculous. I can call her whatever I like! Her father-and brother-is named Randy, and we chose Miranda as a combination of our names (Mary and Randal). Mandy just came naturally, we did not plan to call her that.
EDITED TO ADD: I just remembered that an acquaintance is named Miranda. I never would have guessed, because they call her Midge.

Well my sis is named Miranda so I know. First of all, I don't think you should give a nickname to her since Miranda is a very cute and beautiful name. But, It's your choice. Some nicknames for Miranda are
-Randi
-Mandy
-Randa
-Mirr
Those are the ones I have heard people call my sister. A lot of her friends call her Mirr just for fun and she likes it. Lol, well good luck.

I have a cat named Miranda (not making a joke!) Sometimes I call her Randa or Mir, even Murray. Some of the other nicknames mentioned above are really nice, too. Miranda is a beautiful name.

I knew a Miranda in college, we called her Mirv-I don't know why, that's just what she was called!
I like Randi or Randa, Mandi & Mira!

The beauty of nicknames is that you can be creative.....suggestions may be Randy, Randa, Mira, Mandy, Ira, RanRan...whatever you like and of course consider that age of the person you are speaking to.

You could go with something like Andy, Mandy, Randy, Mira(h), Mimi, Rhonda, Maryn, Anda, Miran, Mirelle, Mirey.
