Yes. I went to jail for a year when I was 16 years old. I was actually certified as an adult and sent to adult jail, not juvenile jail. I was at the wrong place at the wrong time. My cousins boyfriend almost killed his dad and I happened to be over there when he flipped out. (at his house) Anyway he kidnapped me and the story is long and hurtful, so I wont go there. To this day I have to live with that arrest on my record and the fact that I will never get that year of my life back. It takes the justice system along time to actually get to court for a person thats why it took so long. Oh and the charge was the same thing the guy got Attempted Capitol Murder. I have had multiple judges tell me that I got screwed. I was one of the people you hear about on talk shows, the ones that get lost in the system and sent to jail by an over zealous district attorney.

Yes, for driving after revocation. I spent the weekend in a lone cell with the guy in a cell on my left banging something and a guy on the right constantly flushing the toilet. I guess they were as bored as I was.

What did I learn? Bring a book!

Yep, it's pretty funny, too! I was about 22 and this idiot guy next door who was 24 and a foot taller than me started some smart remarks to me while standing on his porch...I was in my driveway. I told him to bring it out there and I would kick his a- -! Well, he ran to his mama (cause he lived with her) and she called and had me arrested for threatening him. I went before the magistrate and it was dismissed. What a weenie he was! lol
