Used to like him until he became a big douche bag. He's going to break the record anyway so it doesn't matter whether I want to see him do it or not. *

How would he not break the record? Are you expecting his head to fall off or someone to kidnap him? I'm not partial to Barry Bonds, but let's accept that he's going to break the record, it's going to be a big deal, and that the steroid ordeal will become an argument for the ages.

I just think its a shame that a record which is one of the most well honored records in MLB may be broken by someone who has cheated. Hank Arron was a great player who had love for the game and dealt with many problems and still played every game to his fullest. Knowing that records are going to be broke because of steroids bothers me in the old days they never had steroids is was all just about the love of the game. I would hate to see all of Hank Arron's hard work go to waste i mean it was just his pure strength and athleticism that lead him to hold that record and i know it will never be forgotten no matter who breaks it.

I am a Giants fan.
I do not like Barry Bonds.
It has nothing to do with performance enhancing drugs. Times that I have gone to the games, he doesn't seem to be with the team.
If someone has to break the record, I'm glad it is a giant. As soon as he does, get rid of him.
Bye Barry, Barry, Matt

I think that they need to somehow prove how he used steroids as that is almost guaranteed and then take away some of the home runs that he took or just let him go but keep him under Hank Aarons record. I just dont like him and I dont see him retiring anytime soon so I think that he is going to continue to hit more home runs but if he doesnt get caught with using steroids then he is one lucky player...

I dont like him at all.. and he did admit he had steroids in his body but he didnt do it on purpose. Thats bull crap.. .he did it on purpose. And i dont care if he breaks the record becuz A-Rod will beat his by far. and if ken griffey junior didn't get hurt so much, he would break barry's record

I think the haters should demonstrate real committment to their cause and have a large (oh, about 3 inches diameter should do it) asterisk tattooed on their foreheads. Flaunt your objection to the very existence of Barry Bonds with enduring pride!

i really don't like him because of all of the steriods surrounding him and even if he does break the all-time home run record, it should be marked with an asteric
