I don't believe you turn gay. I'm gay and i didn't wake up one morning and say :" .....hey i think i want to be gay now even though i go to catholic school, my parents are bigots and i will probably be ridiculed and stereotyped for the rest of my life"......I didn't turn gay and I'm extremely confused about if i was born this way or not i don't know or care. All i know is that one day i fell deeply and truly in love and all of a sudden i had the label homosexual pinned to my back. I honestly believe that you don't choose who you fall in love with and you can refuse it and deny and live unsure about who you are and where you belong but i embraced it because i wouldn't be able to live my life knowing that i had a chance at true love and i let it go. Although sometimes its really hard to be open with my relationship its worth it my main goal is happiness with my boyfriend and I'm getting there.

People do not "turn" gay. The are born to their sexuality. I believe that those who "turn" straight are born "bi" and just chose to emphasize their straight side vice their gay side due to circumstances, perhaps their environment is hostile to gays so to survive in their social setting, they lean to their straight side. A true gay person cannot change his nature. Putting a gay person in a straight environment will no more change him/her into a straight person than putting a bicycle into a car garage will make it into an automobile. What we are is what we are and that is how God made us.

there are so many reasons, but ppl forget that those are personal. i don't think that sm was born to become a criminal, junky or a priest, let alone gay.
it's a choice based on personal experiences which has become a lifestyle.

I do not Know about other people's reasons or the psychological/psychiatric/scientific-survey reasons!
But I do know,for me, that I am a Bi-Sexual, because of Sexual-Desire, Pleasure, Being-Rejected/Criticized/Humiliated,and Abused by Other-People,
including My-Family?!

People don't turn gay. They are born that way. Since the world is such a judgmental place they learn to fight their own feelings and hide it, even from themselves. I am not gay but was married to a Bi-sexual man. Yep it grossed me out until I learned it was not my fault. He had to deal with it and admit it to himself. He was a kind man when he wasn't so evil. I wish you luck in finding out who you are and coming to terms with it. YE WHO IS WITHOUT GUILT MAY CAST THE FIRST STONE & YOU BETTER BE OF PURE HEART.

Yea, there's this little button that's pushed when their born and it "turns" you gay. People do not turn gay. They are born gay.

Maybe they don't turn gay, maybe they are born gay. Why do some people like pizza? Or sandwiches? Why are some people straight? Its a stupid question. Because that's what they choose.
