heres the thing, Dallas lost coz (it hurts me to say this) coz they played like sh!t and GS had more heart then the Mavs had all season. so the article saying that Dallas series may be tainted is wrong.
As for the Spurs? there is no way on gods green earth the cavs could have won from Santone. The issue with the suns was their own fault. So yeah the Spurs were the champions and I dont think their 4th championship is tainted.
As for the players? yeah they should be banned for life. No questions asked, no explainations needed. No more Bball for them. They can go to any other corrupt euro league and play there.

As not only a basketball fan, but a Spurs fan as well, this whole scandal deeply upsets me. If these allegations come out to be true, then I would have no choice but to view my teams championship as tainted.

If any players were involved, I can think of 2 right off the top of my head that have very good reasons to get involved in something like this(not that it makes it right).

1)Derek Fisher - His daughter was recently diagnosed with cancer found in her eye. Cancer treatment is NOT cheap. I don't know what the NBA's insurance plan is like, but I'm pretty sure Mr. Fisher wants the best treatment for his little girl and would spare no expense.

2) Robert Horry - Like Fisher, Horry has a daughter with serious health problems. His whole reason for jumping to the Spurs was to be closer to his family in Houston(where the hospitals are some of the best in the state of Texas). It is my personal opinion that the reason he keeps playing is to afford the medical bills for his very sick daughter.

Both guys are vets, and know very well how the league operates.

These are very serious and ugly alligations being made towards players and other referees. I really hope that the rumors of other players and refrees being involved are just rumors, and I especially hope that I am wrong about the two aforementioned players.

We can only hope that this just an isolated incident with just one referee and not the catostrophic event everyone thinks it is.

wth are you talking about, players?

and when the spurs win it again next year there will be people blaming that championship on the refs too. the fact is, the spurs are the best team of the last decade and they would have won anyways cuz one game, and one ref didn't win them the championship.

Well, they may have won the championship this year, but that was with the HUGE help of the flagraunt foul on Steve Nash that got Boris Diaw and Amare Stoudimare suspended.
