What are the affects of a 13 year old taking estrogen?

i am always being teased about how little my boobs are. and i heard estrogen can make them bigger, because its an extra hormone. i really want bigger boobs. im a 30A:[. and alot of people tease me about my size, and i always feel like im different, all my other friends have bigger breasts.
like size. 38A. and i feel horrible! what should i do!

Well one. I don't think any respectable doctor would give a 13 year old hormones to grow breasts. Estrogen might help you develop faster but will not change the size your body is predisposed to. You still have about 5 to 7 years to fully develop so I wouldn't worry about it. I was the first girl to have boobs at school but i ended up being the smallest as an adult (34B), so the fact that girls have breasts now or not does not really affect the size they will end up being as an adult. And by the way 38A just means that they are chubby, not that they have large breasts. Love your body, no matter what. Good luck!

That is a very bad idea to take estrogen. It is known to cause cancer of the breast, vagina, cervix, etc. You should never think about taking something like that to change your body.

I suggest you change friends, anyone who teases you about that, I'd have a few choice words for them about their bodies.

You don't seem to understand that a 30A and a 38A are the same size breast. The A refers to cup size and the 30/38 is the inches around the chest, having nothing to do with breasts.

There are more important things in life to be concerned about; grades in school, being a good person, planning for the future, etc., than your breast size.

Many women do not have monstrously sized breasts.
Right now, your breasts are still growing, you do not need to be self conscious. You could be a late bloomer. If people tease you about them, tell them that, well, at least yours wont be sagging to the floor when you're 65.
You still have a ton of time. Just be patient.
You should not be taking any hormones without a doctor's prescription. Those that you can get off the internet could be very harmful fakes. Do not buy estrogen without a doctor; one serious side effect is cancer.

DON'T take estrogen.... Your body is at a very sensitive stage right now, and if you take synthetic hormones, your body will never learn to produce them for itself. You have years to grow a bust, don't worry about that.

Also, for bra sizes, the number refers to the band, the letter to the cup size. An A cup means your breasts extend one inch from your chest. So a 38A has the same breast size (pretty much) as a 32A. The 38A person is just heavier than the 32A person.

Don't rush things, your body will mature when it is ready. I didn't start really growing until I was 15, and now that it's all done I'm a 34D. So be patient :-)

I'm not sure but I know that they give estrogen to women going through menopause, and I also know that the hormones they give women during menopause can give them cancer, but I'm not sure if those two things are directly corralated. I wouldn't try taking any supplements or anything to get bigger boobs because I'm pretty sure they just don't work.

Boobs are basically fat so if you are a slim and petite person you just may not ever get huge boobs. Also depending on where you are with puberty you might need alot more time to develop breasts.

You should let nature take it's course. You're still young and developing. Why don't you grow up first, then you can make a better decision.
