"In his debut year in the NBA (1998), he was voted Rookie of the Year and elected into the All-NBA Rookie Team, made the first of nine NBA All-Star Teams – among them eight First Team nominations – ten All-NBA Teams – among them nine First Team nominations – and ten All-Defensive Teams,
among them seven First Team nominations."

" With these impressive performances, Duncan is one of only four players to receive All-NBA First Team honors in each of his first eight seasons (1998-2005), along with Hall of Famers Bob Pettit (10 seasons), Larry Bird (9 seasons), and Oscar Robertson (9 seasons), and is notably the only player in NBA history to receive All-NBA and All-Defensive honors in his first nine seasons (1998-2006)."

" Duncan is one of only six NBA players to ever win ROY and all three MVP awards. The other five players are Wilt Chamberlain, Willis Reed, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, and Shaquille O'Neal."

Karl Malone. He gave emphasis to the word "power" with his brand of play. Malone had that bodybuilder-type physique which he used to muscle his way around the paint. He had strong post moves, a reliable turnaround jumper and uncanny accuracy from the perimeter. He was also a strong rebounder and a decent defender. He didn't win a championship in the NBA but that's another story. It won't diminish the luster of his career as the greatest POWER forward of all time. And don't forget, he scored the most points than any other player in history except Kareeem.

I gotta go with Karl Malone. It is true that Big Fundamentals has more championships, but I don't recall any of those championships involving beating MJ's Bulls. If Karl Malone had not had to deal with the Invincibulls, then he may have won just as many titles. Also, people who are saying Bill Russell and Kareem and others are in the mix are foolish. Those players were centers.

1. The Mailman
2. Big Fundamentals
3. The Round Mound of Rebound
4. Kevin "I'm a Terrible GM" Mchale
5. Bob Pettit "Like You Mean It"

I would say Tim Duncan but he is a center, not a power forward. So, the 2 finalists would be Charles Barkley or Karl Malone. I'm going to go with the Mailman on this one.

if stats do the talking definitely Kevin Garnett
Only man ever to average 20-10-4 for 9 straight years and counting. Bird didnt do that, mailman didnt do that, TD never did that.
KG has been to as many All-Star games as any of them
Won a league MVP,and All-star game MVP
All-NBA every year
Woulda wont more MVPs had his supporting cast been what some of the others have had.
TD has chamionships but how many did he win whenever Robinson was old and Parker wasnt primed for the league yet and Manu hadnt peaked-NONE
Mailman averaged more points but half of those came off threaded needle passes from one of the best assist man ever to play the game.
KG has never had any of that and his stats speak for themseleves. I rest my case

At least jhv1978 has a brain and can read.

Take your pick in alphabetical order:

1) PF Tim Duncan, 4 NBA rings, 3 NBA Finals MVP awards, 2 regular season MVP awards, 10 First or Second Team All NBA Teams (9 First Team including in 2007) in 10 career years in the NBA

2) PF/C Elvin Hayes, 1 NBA ring (1 NBA ring with another Hall of Fame teammate and starter), 27,000 points, 16,000 rebounds - Hayes played a number of years in the NBA at center

3) PF/C Bob Pettit 1 NBA ring (during the Bill Russell era, what an accomplishment as only center Wilt Chamberlain led his team to a NBA title other than Bob Pettit during center Bill Russell's 13 year NBA career), 1 regular season MVP award, 11 time First Team All NBA teams (the all time NBA record) - Pettit played a number of years in the NBA at center [Interesting to note that Pettit teamed up with two players (their 2nd and 3rd biggest stars on the St. Louis Hawks) with to defeat Bill Russell's Boston Celtics as the 2nd and 3rd biggest stars on that team which was the first NBA team ever to defeat a Bill Russell Boston Celtics team in the playoff having been obtained by Bob Pettit's St. Louis Hawks in a trade with the Boston Celtics as the Celtics got Bill Russell from the St. Louis Hawks who held the rights to Bill Russell for two of the three stars who would later hand Bill Russell his first, and only one of two, NBA playoff defeats in Russell's 13 year NBA career]
