i hope so im a long time Charger fan and i think its time ........the chargers have bad luck we have never won a championship we got close but no cigar....L.T and the bolts have the talent i just hope we can get over that playoff hump and win it all for all us fans who have been waiting and waiting for that championship ....the pats have nothing on the Chargers ..

I hope so. I think it is more on Phillip Rivers' shoulders than LT's. If Rivers can improve and the mediocre WRs step up then I believe the championship will belong to the Bolts. The D is top notch and they have the best RB, LB, and TE in the game. It is time for them to win it all.

Can the Chargers win a SB, well...it's looks as if this season will be the best shot they have had in a long time, LT will be key to San Diego winning in the post season but San Diego needs to move the ball around more, Norv Turner being the Offensive genius that he is should be able to use the talent that San Diego has to it's utmost.
I don't think San Diego will have that tough of a time with teams that pass a lot because San Diego has the best pass rush in football right now, and if he stays healthy, they will have Merriman for all 16 games this year. Rivers will have to step up and the receiver corp will definitly need to show up this year.
I would expect that LT will handle the ball less this season, Micheal Turner will probably get some reps, that's a great one-two punch.
The Defense and the kicking game as well as special teams will be solid as always, look for San Diego to be dangerous this year............VERY dangerous.

Maybe because the coaches switch but san diego got a long way first through Pats (Yea im from boston) who has the best deep Wr and the best Qb with a nice running gmae and A Thomas brings speed but the chargers have a good line
Lt of course ,phillips And the defense really its all on the hands of phillip and L.T but Pats upset team way better than them plenty of times be 4 remember STL

I'm a Charger fan since the Fouts days but come on now! The Pats with Brady, Moss, Stallworth, Welker and Watson have the edge in the passing game. Our receivers are about as no-name as it gets in the NFL. Fortunately, we're great at RB and TE, and have a rising star at QB.
I do hope without Marty's insane game management, we'll finally win the AFC and bring home a Super Bowl this year.
R52L, stop drinking from Grampa's flask! :) No team lost more in the offseason than Baltimore, they've dropped from division champs to middle-of-the pack.

Can Tomlinson do it on his own? Absolutely NOT. He is a talented RB but if the fans and the team think a SB championship is all on his shoulders then San Diego will be waiting a very long time. One player alone has NEVER won a Super Bowl.

While I do believe the Chargers are definitely due for a championship in the coming years, they just aren't going to do it this season. The New England Patriots are a very strong team going into the season and barring any major injuries... nobody is going to be able to stop them from claiming their 4th title in 6 years.

I am a diehard Charger fan and I feel it is time for them to get the GOLD ring. LT is the greatest, not only athletically, but as a role model for the young people of today.

Not by himself, and not with Marty at coach. Marty will never use him the same way in the postseason as he does in week 7. He also has a lot of competition in the AFC.. You have to outlast the Colts, Patriots, and Ravens. He can help, but he doesn't assure anything.

No, but his team can. One player, not even the great LT, can win a super bowl by themselves. I think their defense is what is going to bring them to the next level and this is the best chance they have, even better than the Fouts days.
