In my opinion Pan's Labyrinth was not creepy but sad. The only part that seemed a little creepy was the monster with eyes in his hands but that seemed to be it. The movie in general was made well the casting was good and the sets, costumes, and everything elses was beautiful.

I thought it was one of the most fascinating movies I have seen in ages. After seeing the coming attractions I knew it was something I had to see. Usually coming attractions don't do anything for me, but for this movie I was totally intrigued. I had seen Hellboy, so I wasn't really sure what to expect as I wasn't thrilled with that. But as soon as the movie began all I could think was, how did this not win for best foreign film, how could it not win for best film. I went out the next day and bought the film and have seen it more than once as I find that I see more in the movie each time I see it. Also, after watching this one night Hellboy was on TV and I did start to watch it and did realize that there was more to it than I had realized. Guillimo del Toro is indeed quite a genius when it comes to being a director, whether it's in English or in Spanish. I did not find it creepy, I found it unusual, and did have to follow what was sureal and what was historical, all mixed up and try and read into the symbolism, which is why it needs more than one watching. But, quite a movie, something that goes in my list of best films of all times.

I though it was a great movie and yes parts were a bit creepy - especially the little goat looking guy and the pale dude with eyes in his hands. The goat dude had a "chester-the-molester" vibe going on.

Yeah I found it very creepy... I was watching the DVD at home by myself and I was so scared that it took me 3 nights to watch it... Once it got to the part with the thing at the buffet table, I just waited till morning to finish the movie.

I thought it was pretty good. I had to see it for an anthropology class... so I went in hating it because it was homework. But I did end up liking it. There were definitly some strange parts...
the onion thingy under the bed... that cried...
strange....
let alone the ending... kind of just ending like that... not knowing what was fact and what was fiction..
