I know it sucks - especially when addicts clean up their act, its seems like everything is (will be) fine, but 7 months is NOTHING.
I also agree with the person that said especially if she was with someone else. Fact of the matter is, dating someone is a diversion. It gives the addict something else to focus on other than themselves. When someone is in recovery they want to focus on anything but themselves. Don't let her use you as her next diversion.
Find someone else dude. If you go back you will get yourself wrapped up in a bad situation.
Best of luck :)

I don't feel she has changed and I also don't feel she is worth it, and you don't feel she worth it either, that is why you are questioning your self. No telling what she did while on heroin, she might be hiding something from you.
Move on and start a new happy life. You won't ever be able to trust her and you can't find it in your heart to have the same relationship you two had before.
Good luck!

7 months isn't a long time in recovery, 2-3 years is more like it. And the fact that she was in a relationship during that time isn't good because she wasn't really working on "herself" and her issues...she was wrapped up in a relationship, which addicts tend to do.
If I were you I'd give it more time.

major red flag dude. many heroine addicts never truly kick the habit. not only that but there is a huge risk of aids if she was a needle user. don't go there.

what is the point of proven? if you love her you will do everything to support her through the ordeal she had face to let her know there's someone for her to turn to...you should know people who addicted to drugs and alcohols it's hard for them to turn around, but you chose to abandoned her and let she be on her own and she was with someone else and you can't decide on your own...I don't think you're worth for her...In those 5yrs you could've helped her but you didn't...LA VERGA PUTO! HAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!QLKM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
