Buy a can of Oven Cleaner, read the directions thoroughly, then procede. Put some newspaper down on the floor in fron of your stove in case there's a chance of getting some of the cleaner on your floor. Wear plastic gloves or rubber gloves to protect your hands from the cleaner. After you clean the oven, make sure you wipe every bit of the cleaner from the oven or the next time you use the oven, it will stink. I wipe the inside with Windex to get rid of any remaining residue. You can leave the oven racks in the oven & spray then too, then clean them in the kitchen sink with a cloth or SOS pad for removing the crusty stuff.

What you do is first buy "EasyOff" and a good brillo pad, than you heat your oven to the hottest it can get and let it get hot for about 45 minutes, after you shut off your oven and then spray the easyoff all over inside your oven,...(warning, easyoff has fumes so it will probably make you cough alot, but works best), after you spray the whole oven inside, you let it sit overnight this way it will be easier to scrub the hard spots, than when you wake up in the morning, you take that brillo pad and scrub, after you scrub the whole thing, make sure you keep wiping it clean with a rag and clean water.
P.S. this is for sure the thing i hate to clean the most "the oven"...LOL...but the way i just told you really will make it shine
