Canker sores (mouth ulcers) are not contagious, they are not caused by bacteria or viruses. Fever blisters however are cold sores, caused by the herpes simplex virus and are extremely contagious. Sometimes some people have difficulty distinguishing between the two. It's best to abstain until the sores are healed.
Once you have herpes, you have it for life. By doing this not only will you lose a friend but you risk giving this guy (and probably yourself and your friend) a very serious STD.

Not herpes? Wrong. Those sores in your mouth are herpes, and it's very contagious. Not only have you just told the world you have herpes, but you proudly announce you're lower that dirt. What kind of person would mess with a friend's boyfriend. You're not a friend.

The thing is, how do you know the sores you have are NOT herpes????

If it is herpes, and you kissed his penis while your having an outbreak, he will break out.

Everyone knows that you dont make sexual contact while sores of any kind are happening on either partner!!!! Or at least use protection

if you have to think about it or ask...don't do it...and by the way canker sores and fever blisters are a form of herpes simplex virus...just for your information!

Get your own man and give him canker sores on his. What kind of friend are you? Why would you want to kiss something that has been inside your "friend" anyways??

fever blisters on the mouth ARE the herpes virus, and you most certainly can give it to him. you shouldn't be kissing your friends boyfriend anyway, not and call yourself her friend anyway,

This is a rule of thumb for ALL of life:

When in doubt, DON'T!

Another rule of thumb is to not be crass. This question is crass.
