Wouldn't the shock of learning what a monumental disaster he was just upset American students too much?

Not to mention the damage it would do to the Republican party who actually elected the guy to office twice!

As a very good president, in a very difficult time.
They hated lincoln more than you hate Bush at the time.
Sorry, just because you folks have some wierd form of delusional rage for Bush, does not change facts.
Hell I don't mind putting Clinton and Carter in the History books. It just shows America was great enough to learn from their blunders.

Depends. If the libs get their wish and form a socialist peoples' dictatorship then he will surely be in there as the bogeyman but Reagan will disappear from them. If they just get a few Presidents and Congresses in a row, the new Islamic fascist government that results when the USA falters will probably rewrite all the history books.

There is no doubt that he will be in the history books. He has been and is still a strong leader. He does what he believes is best for us and for America as a whole. We have not been attacked since 9/11 this is a fact which seems to have been lost by a lot of people. The media wants him to fail, the polls given out by NBC,ABC,ABC are a joke. I thank God that AL Gore and his cronies never made it to the White House.
If President Bush was to have listened at all to the media or the polls believe me we would be of having major problems

No, the new order will censor the books..So you liked 911, and democrats probably sent Thank you cards. Lets see, your guy was cheated out of his 'win' and whoa, Amercia gets 'attacked' but you think the republicans really blew up the world trade centers. You and this attitude will bring it all about again. you demean your country by disrespecting its representatives; soldiers and commander in chief.

The American people actually elect people, not a party. Perhaps you should go back to school and take govt?

He will be remembered as hated by libs and and liberal media which hate him because hes a Christian that takes his faith seriously and rejects their philosophy.

To me, being a conservative is simply logical. As in medicine, safety comes first. Then comes everything else we value: a good education for our children, compassionate care for our elderly, and independence from government control.

To liberal Democrats, this logic is anathema. To them, our safety should be forfeited to political correctness, the education of our children sacrificed to the demands of teachers unions, and the care of our elderly debated (as it was endlessly during the “I care for people” Clinton years) unto death – while dependence on government, they believe, should be encouraged! When it comes to defending our relatively young country and vanquishing regimes that value tyranny over freedom, we have the best track record in world history. Indeed, history has proven that it is Republicans like Abraham Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt and conservatives like Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush who have established this track record.

Does anyone doubt that they are still more capable of effectively vanquishing al-Qaeda and other America-hating terrorists than any Democrat or any liberal on earth?

Bush will get extensive coverage in history books as an example of a disastrous president.
