depends on the technology. not all technologies are inherently evil, nor are all technologies good in every respect. while we say that technology makes our lives better, humans tend to be whiny no matter how good their lives are. additionally, if you don't know about an uncreated technology, you cant very well miss it to the point where you would complain about how hard your life is without it! 20 years ago, no one said "man, my life really sucks because i cant contact people on my portable telephone that can go with me anywhere i go."
personally i'd say the biggest concern with technology right now is the waste produced from it. Carbon dioxide emissions are becoming an increasingly larger problem as technologies build up larger industries that require more power and as people buy more and more things to consume that power. these technologies, while they may make us more entertained or more efficient in our daily lives, they come at a cost beyond money. on the opposite side of that, future technologies may very well be able to assist us with this problem, or help to slow it down and control carbon emissions.
i'm not going to pretend im some humble nomad who lives in harmony with the land though, as i sit here and type on a computer in a house with air conditioning on a road in a city full of lights with a car to drive me to work to type on another computer to make money to spend on more stuff! it is somewhat troubling isnt it...
but i dont think there is any turning back from technological advancement now (beside a full on nuclear war to wipe out all infrastructure and set back the surviving humans thousands of years,) but rather creating new technologies that are more renewable or maintable.

Technology has both pros and cons in our life. On one hand it makes life easy and facilitates us in many daily activities but on the other hand it is also getting used to harm social life.

In today's world, where just about everything is more convenient and accessible due to advances in technology across almost all sectors, it may seem as though it's a misnomer to even mention any disadvantages of technological advances. However, despite how far technology has taken humans and no matter how convenient it may make things, there are some disadvantages accompanying this level of access. Technology advances show people a more efficient way to do things, and these processes get results. For example, education has been greatly advanced by the technological advances of computers. Students are able to learn on a global scale without ever leaving their classrooms. Agricultural processes that once required dozens upon dozens of human workers can now be automated, thanks to advances in technology, which means cost-efficiency for farmers. Medical discoveries occur at a much more rapid rate, thanks to machines and computers that aid in the research process and allow for more intense educational research into medical matters.

love the technology, but notice something?
technology is just renewing itself now, when was the last time you really heard of new technology?
i mean ok were getting better pictures on TV but, the TV has been out nearly a hundred years or so now, no new technology just revamped, and 50 years ago we said we'll be flying around in spaceships by 2000, but we still haven't come up with 3D imaging properly yet, which will end up being another revamped piece of technology probably PC before TV.
but notice as everyday we all become more and more dependent of technology, we risk ourselves everyday more and more. over 60,000 computer hackers and viruses infect computers all over the world, our computers are subjected to hackers over 50 times a night, unprotected computers are found easily searching ISP's,which have all our system information (including our security settings) and when found an easy enter BOOM they're in and destroying your computer, but just because your computer has a firewall doesn't mean they can still break in. well the point here is, back in 1983 was the very first and only computer virus, so in 50 years they will probably be 100 times more viruses and hackers, and the plan is they want to network cities, homes, self-driving cars and robots all together to make life a lot easier, thats a great thing to have, but, one simple virus in that system could bring the entire city crashing down, crashing cars, rogue robots, house destructions, whatever is run by computers can be turned against you, and maybe hackers in those days will decide against hacking us like that, but would make it a lot easier to destroy a country. wars with that type of technology would be extremely bad,my opinion on this is i have this saying "the first world war was fought in the trenches, the second world war was fought in the skies, i don't know how the third world war will be fought, but the fourth world war will be fought with bats and clubs"
and this is the reality of life as we know it, if we become too dependant on future technology.

Information technology is the process of using computer devices to obtain and handle information and data. It is something that is used by people all over the world in their businesses as well as in their homes. Before the information-technology age came to be, individuals had to obtain and handle their information by hand, which was quite time-consuming; however, those days are over. You don't need to have a degree in information technology to use it. All you need is a computer device and the desire to work with information.

We need better technology.
It is in no way out of hand. Technology in its own right does not do wrong, it is the people that use that cause it to do wrong.

Technology is a broad concept that deals with human as well as other animal species' usage and knowledge of tools and crafts, and how it affects a species' ability to control and adapt to its environment. Technology is a term with origins in the Greek technología, 'craft' and -logía, the study of something, or the branch of knowledge of a discipline. However, a strict definition is elusive; "technology" can refer to material objects of use to humanity, such as machines, hardware or utensils, but can also encompass broader themes, including systems, methods of organization, and techniques. The term can either be applied generally or to specific areas: examples include "construction technology", "medical technology", or "state-of-the-art technology".

Yes, I like it. HDTV is cool. LCD television screens are just awsome. Ipods and iphones are dandy. We have become techno freaks without even trying.
