Do you think the Beatles were a good band?

I like them even thought there music is old. Some songs are weird like Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds. I like revolution the best.

lol, is this a serious question or are you being sarcastic? Of course the Beatles were a good (great fits better) band. They're the biggest band in the history of rock n' roll. Sure, I may like Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd better...but, nobody can deny the cultural as well as musical impact the Beatles had. Nobody will ever top them.

They were won of the best bands of the era, and their music holds up very well over time. They were considered Rock N Roll, but now they would probably be called pop! Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band was one of the most influential albums of the 60's. I still enjoy their music.

They had two extraordinary talented musicians and song writers John Lennon and Paul McCartney.

The Beatles had 2 very gifted songwriters Lennon/McCartney, but as a band, I thought they were good, not great. Their guitar playing was good, want great? Eric Clapton and a guitar, now that is greatness,undisputable genius!

The thing is, you really have to look at the period of time they came from. They were doing things NO ONE else had. Add with it the fact that during their years in Germany, what they had to go through as far as amount of time playing together, they grew tight. Yeah, they were, and are still, GREAT!

absolutely. they came up with a sound all their own. i mean, if you switch on the radio and a song you don't even know comes on, you can tell if it's the beatles.
