Verizon has a plan that runs about 60 bucks a month and Im wondering if there are any other providers and amounts per month? Tried Ask, and kept giving me wireless throught your cable or phone line. Im looking for true wireless that lets me go anywhere with my laptop. Thanks for any info.

Most all big cell companies offer it at basically the same price points... Verizon's EV-DO network is good, Sprints network is considered the fastest of all but in my experience their network coverage area is pretty limited... (for voice so I'm sure broadband data is even less)

If cable and/or land phones they are referring to you then that is probably all they had. True wireless for laptop is rare but my region Toronto the company Rogers is offering such, for about the same price with some kind of wireless Ethernet modem that attaches by Ethernet and use cell network to make connection.

Why don't you get a HP Pavillion that will give you wireless connection and one of the best configuration of market.

Moreover, you can get it at cheapest rate of as low as $109 in combination with an international leather item.

It sounds as if you are actually looking a Mobile Satellite Internet Connection or mobile wireless.

You can connect to the internet anywhere you can receive a signal.

Canada - mobile satellite
