I do agree that too many questions nowadays are pretty unenlightening, stuff like "How do I look?" and "What's your favorite pizza topping?" and "Have you ever [insert ridiculous statement]?" or "I really love Snickers!?", etc. etc.. People should try using the search box and find out first if somebody before has asked that same question. And for those people who ask weird questions or stuff that just doesn't make sense, well, I'd just reply in kind or just skip it. And I definitely hate those racist and hateful questions that just incite people to anger and serve no intellectual purpose at all.
The thing is - it is a lot easier to just ask something silly than to ask a real interesting question. But at the same time if people ask interesting and unique questions it's better for all. I hope your question helps all of us who answered to try to ask better questions and to try to get others to do the same.

I understand how you feel. My circumstances were quite different from yours but also traumatic. Anything we were deficient in when growing up we are driven by, but not necessarily down the correct route. Like me you appear attention-seeking and maybe approval-seeking. I think you'll also be affection-seeking. Whatever, you feel cut off from the mainstream. I think the use of the word 'friends' in Facebook is a mistake. The vast majority will be only 'associates'. A friend is someone who likes the real you. A best friend will also care about you, possibly even love you. Part of love is accepting someone warts & all. You are what you are and must accept that plus come to terms with your past. It's happened! I would suggest opening up to your girlfriend. If she is your true love she will "nurse" you. Rather than 'virtual friends' try developing your hot-blooded friendships. What is your affliction? There's not enough to go on. You may be a 'Borderline' Personality, but that is just a tag. Live your life...

I agree with you. Those who ask racist questions, do so, to keep the pot stirred. Enough is enough already. Some questions don't make sense & some are silly but it's the racist questions, I am sick of.

I do too, but I guess when people asks real questions they get "reported and deleted". I think everyone should chill a little bit and if you don't agree with a question ( unless has foul language) don't report it, if you feel offended for the question just don't answer it.

For people who ask questions that you think are not real, it's real for them and it is probly there limit or maybe there warming up for the big question. But you keep asking the questions you do and it may inspire others to do the same or maybe they found there answer to the big ones. think about..

the questions about other users and the racist questions get on my nerves, but the ones that make no sense don't.

I agree with you totally. There should be some sort of filter here that takes out the junk questions and puts them somewhere else.
Cheers!

yes, I wish people would ask real questions, but some people are asking real questions, of course not in the P&S category!
