And if you did fall out of love, why does it still hurt so bad?

When you fall out of love everything finally makes sense. You fight it cuz a part of you wants to somehow fix it when the reality is, it was supposed to end anyway.

Hi, Someone is going to get their heart broken and no one wants to hurt or see someone hurting because of this. Love can be the most wonderful thing on earth specially if you both have the same feeling. Life takes some hard roads and sometimes things happy that we don't want to happen and it ends up breaking and hurting both. Even when one has falling out of love it still hurts both involved. We are born,, we love, were happy,out of love,not happy we die and it all starts again.

Well if you have a history with someone, that doesn't just end because you've "fallen out of love". You still have memories, albeit bitter-sweet...you had invested a bigchunk of your life in someone too...and that takes time to get over as you build a new life...and I'm sure there are thoughts of "all that could have been if only" if you keep looking back.
I don't think it's wise to dwell in the past too much. If you have chosen to move forward then set your sights on tomorrow, but live in the present and get out there and enjoy yourself and make the most of your new life.
Looking back can only bring you misery and won't change anything.
