I saw a woman that had like three or four huge diamonds on her wedding band! Whoa! I think that it always looks like her diamonds are sooo weighty! They look like they would fall right on off! What do you think?
Any thoughts on diamond rings that are humongous like this?
Do you have some yourself, and why?
Or do you like smaller?

I think a woman who wears big gaudy jewelry like that is just asking to get mugged. Also, it is just too many centers of attention. She should wear no more than one big ring per hand. I suspect a lot of those "diamonds" are actually zircons and are not valuable, even tho they look like real thing.
I think the money for big diamond rings could be better spent elsewhere. Share the wealth with those less fortunate: Healthcare, world hunger, educational opportunities, and on and on. .

I think that it depends on how the ring is designed. Jewellery that is too busy is tacky. My mum's rings are set in platinum and it has a round brilliant 2 carat diamond with another carat of princess cut diamonds channel set on either side. Her matching wedding band is 1.25 carats of channel set princess cut diamonds. Yes the centre diamond is big, but the setting is understated. I love it and I hope that when I get married that I will get something similar (probably smaller tho).

I have a solitaire that is 1 1/2 carats and the band is a total of 2 carats. It has 3 rows on diamonds on it. I love diamonds! My diamonds are big enough to get noticed, but not too big that people gawk.

Maybe this person with the four huge diamonds doesn't have a safety deposit box in her home so she would rather wear the jewelry in fear of someone robbing her home? The only jewelry I own is a wedding band, a pair of gold earrings and a watch.

I don't like diamons that are too big. I have a ring that has a nice, medium-small blue stone, with 3 small diamonds on either side, and I love it! But I also have a ring with a larger blue stone, and I don't wear it very much, because I think it is too big. But it varies with different people, I guess.

I was married and my wedding ring was very small but very elegant. I also don't understand why women where so much/so big jewlrey. I think it is mabye to compensate for something either lost or unfullfillable. I have also observed that older women tend to wear bigger and more rings than younger ones. Maybe that was just the thing to do when they were younger.

i heart diamond rings but what is the point of haveing like 4 humongous diamond ring son ur fingers it is rediculous. i like small diamond rings they look petite and cute to me but i would only wear two of them on my finger

I prefer smaller diamonds myself, like 1 to 1.5 carrats. You would be suprised how many women are wearing lab created diamonds.

The bigger the better. You can't have to many diamonds and there is no such thing as to big!!!!!! You must be a man.

the onely reason we want big diamond rings is beacause we want to show it off to all of are friends and to show them what we have that they don't . i know it;s cruel of us to do but we are girls and we always want ppl to envy us. im sorry but it's true.
