I'm pretty sure it was from a Russian man named Janusz Liberkowski, and the invention was a baby car seat, that was in a ball-like thing, that would spin and not let the baby fall out. I liked it. Yeah, I just googled it for ya, he was the winner.

It was the Anecia Safety Capsule invented by Janusz Liberkowski. He named it after his daughter who was killed in a car accident. It positions the child vertically, supports the head, absorbs the energy of the impact and lowers the chance of injury or death. You can read all about it on Doug Hall's blog (http://inventorspot.com/node/9379 ) -- he was one of the judges.

At the end of the show the CEO of Evenflo offered to partner with Liberkowski and help him develop the Capsule for the marketplace. I don't think it's in stores, yet, though.

Hope this helps!

It was some goofy thing that was supposed to help young football players learn how to correctly catch the ball. In my opinion it should not have won, something more useful should have won. Hope this helps.
