why is it that in some countries boy or girls look like the opposite gender from another country?

I took a trip in eastern europe and noticed that most of the girls looked like american man.Ive seen this in other countries where the guys or girls look like the oppsite gender from another country.I find this really disturbing.what if i go to a foreign country and the girl im making out with looks like a man from another country.that would be a mess ..

How incredibly ignorant. Perhaps a few of the women you saw were rather androgenous - are you saying there is not one single androgenous looking woman in the US? Or are they all drop dead gorgeous supermodels over there in the "land of the free"?

each country has their own look for girls and boys.In some countries,boys or girls have the same facial features as people of opposite gender from a different country, thats my point.how can u not find that disturbing..and by the way girls in the usa all look like what girls should resemble in the usa ... and to look andrygonous has nothing to do with looking good ... if ur a girl and u look like a man u can still be good looking .... but the problem is youd look like a men
