everybody did die for some of you that said that they didnt die some lived some didnt because they were in the freezing water rose didnt because she was on that thing... I have a question... Do they find the necklace? Why did she let him go in the water? And why did that lady put her kids asleep when she knew the titanic was going to sink?

OMGSH! I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!! i feel terrible for all of the people that died on the titanic in real life...over 1500 people went down with the ship, including captain smith...
in the movie, the old lady drops the necklace into the water b/c it came from cal...she wanted to get rid of her bad memories..the man on the boat never did find the necklace tho.....watch this clip..it looks really good, but it is NOT real!:

the lady let the kids to sleep b/c she knew that they wouldnt be able to escape to survive...i know, its really sad but she didnt want the kids to worry...and what owner are you talking about? captain smith or mr andrews?? probably mr andrews huh? he wanted to go down with the ship that he created and he was sad that it was his fault that everyone would die..remember how he told rose he was sorry he didnt build her a better ship?? that tells you why....
1 more thing! i HATE how people always laugh about it...it isnt anything funny!

of course I feel bad! But as I've always thought, you can't go swimming in the ocean without the company of the shark, or flying in a rocket to the moon? Geez! u gotta expect a bit of something to go wrong, hey?
So, like all inventions,... it usually has just a normal human being behind the whole idea. If you know what I mean. Even experts can be wrong. All those people on the Titanic just took it on themselves to believe that some dude invented an unsinkable ship.... Maybe they were silly to believe that someone could build such a boat?...And then drive it through ice burg infested waters..........
Also, watch 'Open Water', it's real freaky!....
...I do feel sorry, but a lesson must be learnt in this too, hey?

A very tragic piece of disaster history. All though the movie may not have followed the facts to the tee. The shock value of the movie was right on top !! Very sad indeed !!

Yes it is a very good movie, but she was not the only one that lived, there were a few others that lived, but she was the one that told the story! There were even babies that died in the frigid waters it was very sad :-(

I always thought the ending of that movie was dumb -- I mean, Rose is floating on something, Jack's in the water and too stupid to find something to climb up and keep himself from dying of hypothermia. He could have climbed on top of ROSE, for cryin' out loud! His death was meaningless and pointless. James Cameron did it to make Jack seem all noble for staying with Rose till the bitter end.
In "real" life, everybody DIDN'T die.
