Well Arnold is a republican so I am sure he prolly won't do much better. But I agree a blind retarded monkey could do better than bush. Also the president isn't the power in the USA its all congress.

I am not sure if the best thing for us to do at this juncture is elect an actor into the highest office in the land. The last time we did this with Reagan, we had mixed results. From my understanding of Arnold’s positions, he sustains the typical Republican platform that mandates a militant reaction to most global conflicts.

As we have seen in our global “War on Terror”, or incursion into Iraq, and our history in Vietnam, guerilla wars, which is what this is, cannot be addressed through conventional militaristic means. We must fight this Islamic movement using counter intelligence measures, local law enforcement, and diplomacy. So far, Arnold’s rhetoric has been one that supports military solutions to everything.

Therefore, I don’t think he is an acceptable figure to helm the effort against worldwide Islamic militancy. The person we need to head this endeavor is one who is well versed in world affairs and the cultural dynamics that govern other parts of the world. In other words we need someone completely the opposite of men like Bush and Arnold, two men with a lot of machismo infused ignorance, but little strategic brilliance or cognizance of how the rest of the world works.

No, not because I am not fond of Arnold, but I am not, but that the reason that the Constitution was made the way it was, was to keep a foreign invader claiming the title president. True, that was fears of the British reinvading, and persons like Hitler. Yet the principle still stands. There is no other restriction on how far a non native born person can rise, except to this post.

He will not be allowed to become President of the U.S., but I do believe he will end up as President of the United Nations. We, as a voting unit, would have no say in that election. Once elected, we will know the true meaning of "mess."

I am a republican but if arnie came on 2008 i will NOT vote for him not because i hate him but because we have just had a republican who has really messed uyp the country so i will rater vote for Obama. But however if arnie stands for the elections after 2008 then its more likely that i will vote for him. All i want is that the republican candidate be prominent and active.

Extremely unlikely event. The amendment idea was bandied about when Kissinger was at the top of his game.

I think the Ahnold will have to be content being the Governator.

Jawohl, Herr Feldmarschall, zur verfuegung. Why wouldn't i want to vote for someone, who, like bush, feels that people need "direction", and astrologically, has prominent Leo and capricorn, an excellent combo for ein richtiger fuehrer :))

No. Would not vote for him. And it has nothing to do with the fact that he is a foreigner.
