My life is alright. I have softball nearly every day, which can be either positive or negative. New semester, new classes. I wonder how that will turn out; probably badly, knowing my luck. But hey, I'm alive and around people I love. Also, I'm becoming closer to the guy I like, which is good. :) Have a lovely day!

I only need to compare my life to the life of an average person 100 years ago.
Air conditioner on hot days? Check! 1907 Person? Nope.
A car to help me travel long distances? Check! 1907 person? Probably not.
Clean water for drinking and baths? Check! 1907 person? A little more unreliable.
Yeah, life's not too bad nowadays.

I'm pretty happy. I've got a great job, loving wife, beautiful home with a fixed low interest rate mortgage, the sun is shining, and I get to play softball and drink beer when I get off work. I can't answer for everybody, but life is pretty good for me nowadays!

As Billy Joel said, "the good old days weren't always good and tomorrow ain't as bad as it seems."
Considering that in the past, World War and massive flu epidemics could wipe out millions in a year or two, we are doing great.
Environementalists and Anti War folk are obsessed with global warming and the Middle East, but really, if you live in the USA, I think that life is pretty good right now. We have minor problems to deal with...but nothing that we didn't cause ourselves.
