As you can guess from my question, I kinda had a bad spill today. I suppose I need to know how you can get stains out of books in general, if anyone knows anything about strawberries specifically, that would be better. I need to know the answer before my book is due next Monday, or else I might have to pay to replace it, yikes!

Don't know if these will work for what has happened to your book, but here are some suggestions that I've read.

rub dirt away with an art gum eraser. If still soiled, rub gently with a dry pad of fine steel wool.

Immerse a cheese cloth or similar in a solution of 6 teaspoons of copper sulphate and 2 1/2 cups of water. Saturate well, wring and hang on a line to dry. When completely dry rub over books thoroughly.

The only thing I can think of is a fine mist spray of bleach.
