My man took one of my rings with him ... but I still had to get it re-sized ( it didn't cost anything )... so either way ... go for it and good luck ... !

One day while you guys are at the mall or something, just stop in a jewelry store and look around. Try some things on and ask the jeweler to size your finger and after they size yours tell your girlfriend to get hers sized too. If you're doing it too, she'll think nothing of it. That's how my husband got my ring size and it fits perfect.

Ask someone close to her. Or 'borrow' one of her rings for a day, take it to the jeweler, and they can tell you the size. Just make sure that you get the size for the right finger, meaning.. if you want to get her a promise or engagement ring, you need to take a ring that she wears on her left ring finger. If you take one that she wear on her index finger, chances are, that size is bigger than the ring finger. good luck!

How romantic is that! You take your best guess, pick out the ring with care, and ask her with bended knee. Rings can be sized more easily than hearts can be mended. Seriously, it isn't that expensive or that much of a hassle to have a ring sized. Just do your best, you'll do fine.

Look at her finger size. Then, when you find someone that easily compares.. ask them what size ring do they wear. If you are out shopping... someone is bound to compare. I am sure no one would mind telling you. You should get insurance for it and it can always be re-sized. It should cost an extra $30 dollars and it covers the ring. If you had to ever get it re-sized that would cost $30 dollars..by its self.

Maybe you could ask her friends or parents....
OR
You could steal a ring that you have seen her wear and that you know fits her. Take it to the jewelery store and have them tell you what size it is. A jeweler should be able to help you, especially if you plan to buy a ring from them. Then slip the ring back into her box before she knows you took it.

Pick a ring that you know for sure she wears on that finger. Try putting it on one of your fingers...maybe your pinky? Then, instead of taking the ring to the jewelery store and risking her noticing it's gone, just have them size YOUR finger that the ring fit on.

most ladies rings are a size 7, my suggestion, get her a promise ring, of course it will be too big, it will need to be sized, from that you can take it back to the jewelry store get her sized there and poof you know her size, and can still surprise her.

The size will never be marked inside. Take her ring to the jeweler's to measure it.

You can sneak one of her existing rings and bring into the jeweler. It doesn't need to have it imprinted for them to know. Or, better yet, if she will notice the missing piece, put it on your own pinky and mark the spot that you can get it to on your finger. The jeweler will have a sizer to then put on your finger and presto-zamo! you have a ring size.
Congrats!
