the reason you will not find a kit is due to the fact that altering the factory system for sound will cause it to loose back pressure needed to make valuable horsepower and loosing hp. in a 2.2L is not a big demand.

It's hard to generate Flowmaster sound with a 4 cylinder. On my '88 toyota pickup I made an adapter from exhaust parts at my local auto parts store to go from the 1-3/4" pipe after the cat to 2.5" and put on a Cherry Bomb muffler (not the glass pack one, although that is what I was originally looking for). Gave it a noticable sound and I even set off some car alarms with it when coasting/decelerating to park at my apartment complex. For some reason it really resonated during low speed deceleration/coasting

What you need is a plitter.

It takes your pipe back by the muffler and take the muffler off.

The new "muffler" has a spot for your stock exhaust to fit
And it has 2 out spots to run your dual pipes out to the rear of the truck.

If you wanna be cheap about it you can use some of your old exhaust to make the new 1.

You will be better off leaveing the factory exhaust system alone.Changing the system will not give you more power or better MPG.
