Ok here's how I see it. (which could be totally different..... but I guess it is still how I kinda see it.)
See being "cool" isn't something you strive for. I think the mistake is that people "try" to be cool and by trying..... well they just blew the whole concept right there. The few people I know that I think are just soooo freaking majorly cool are the ones that are so natural..... just so real and oblvious to how neat they are..... that that is what makes them..... "cool."
I'm not sure who defined "cool" and what all people think "cool" is. But if it means that someone thinks much more of themselves than those around them...... if they are putting themselves first because the ego is their driving force..... well yeah.... THEN being cool..... is overrated. I see someone like that and I don't think twice.... I just turn away.
But that guy...... that amazing guy standing in the corner at the party not needing to be the center of attention that chimes in with an amazing observation that is sooo uniquely different from everyone else's...... this guy...... is cool. :)

It is overrated yes very much because trying to hard become cool can lead you astray from being yourself.
But in the end you find out that just being yourself IS cool.

There's a lot of people... (yes, a LOT) that think I'm cool because I thought of them first. There's a lot more people that think I'm cool because I was a good friend, when they REALLY needed one.
The people I think are cool, are the ones that are themselves. Doesn't matter who you are, (or pretend to be), they never change.
In that respect, I believe that I have a flaw. I act differently toward people with different influences.
You can find thousands of people who's only talent is looking good. Are they cool? They were born with it.
To me, cool is action. Thought. Bonding. Cool is so much a blanket term to use in a sentence, that you can't really answer a question that includes the word.
So my answer, to your question, is: Define "Cool."

Only to somebody who everybody else sees as "cool". There's no such thing as anybody being cooler than anyone else, anyway. We're all different, unique, and possess different qualities, but that doesn't make anyone more uncool than the most popular girl/guy in school.

it's better than it being hot...i mean like the weather is horrible!! too hot!
i would rather have it cool..................and being cool is only what the individual thinks it is
