Platy preggers?

Question

I found 2 fry in my tank 2nite so i got them out and put them in fry net (think rest got eaten?. I think they guppys as im missing 1 adult guppy so think she died and been eaten also.

I have a platy that looks preggers is she ready to pop? IM me on messenger and ill send u a pic

Chances are the fry got eaten. Even if the platy is ready to pop you should NOT put her in a breeding contraption, It will cause majour stress to the fish and can reslut in her to abort fry or she may even die,Add lots of plants or Put her in a 5-10 gal tank with lots of plants and she can give birth in there then all the fry can hind and not be eaten then you can remove her once she has had them and you can net the fry up and put them in the breeder net.

What's your question? Here's part of an answer. Don't move or net the female. If she's within two weeks of dropping moving or netting her can do a lot of harm (to her and the fry). Load up the tank with inexpensive "bunch" plants(Anacharis,Water Wisteria,etc.) and let nature take it's course. The female will be calmer and have an easier time birthing and the fry will have plenty of places to hide.
Then just maintain good clean water (small ,frequent water changes) and every body wins.
