They are mostly from the '80's and very early '90's. I am not sure but some may be from the '70's?

I was thinking that $3 in perfect condtion was a good price plus a standard fee, I'm sure someone out there colletct's RD!

I can't imagine they are worth much even in perfect condition.

I don't know about eBay but my local Friends of the Library book store won't even accept Reader's Digest Condensed Books. They say they can't sell them. The ones that are already there you can get for around a quarter. That may just be my area though. I hope you have better luck!
