How can I wash the fabric I've died without the colors mixing together or washing near completely away?

Good advice, B_B.
But if you've already made the item and want to wash it, soak it in cold water and vinegar first, then wash gently with cold water. There is also a product that absorbs dye and keeps it from bleeding together. It's like a dryer sheet but you put it in the wash water. I couldn't find it on line. I hope this jogs someone's memory and they answer, but maybe you'll see it in the supermarket.

you need to use the darkest blue and combine it with a splash black dye for the suitable consequences. in case you settle directly to no longer combination interior the black then use two times as lots blue dye simply by fact the guidelines call for.

Did you add Epsom salt & vinegar to the mix when you dyed? Then dry on high heat to help set.

Don't use detergent that's made for heavy duty stains. It takes off stains and it takes the dye with it.
