People now & days don't spend 13 bucks or more on a cd. Cause now & days it's easy to purchase & or free download 1 or 2 songs u like on the album from any of the various online music downloading sites, instead of buying the whole album & having to listen to the whole album.
What people don't know (excluding Apple Ipod), the artist & or band are not making $ off u're other site purchase & or free download so u're not helping u're fave artist/band by doing that, this is their job/way they make a living so when u download free or purchase from a site that artist is not a part of they are not making $. If u really love them, help u're fave by buying the whole album please or ipod site.

I listen to cd samples first, and if I like most of the cd, then I'll buy the actual cd. If I only like a few songs, then I'll buy only the individual .mp3's I like at 99¢ a pop. The artist doesn't get as much of a profit this way, but it is still done legally.

"Two reasons, one: I'm a Beatles maniac, and two *Goodspeed holds up the record* THESE sound better" I agree with Sweet Melody though, if you truly love your favorite artist, spend the money so they can make the money, support them, don't steal from them!

Thats the same samn thing i always think when going to the music section! Its only $13 if you like the song that much, what the heck, buy the CD! You might like the rest of the songs too!!
**cadaholic- if you think about everything you buy and the actual cost to make the product, you wouldnt buy anything.

Because I might only want five of the songs recorded onto that CD and I can get them from other sources at $ 0.99 a song thereby saving myself $8.00 per CD.

Cause you can buy it for less on itunes.
And most artists have like 2 or 3 good songs and the rest are horrible.
